We are collecting data on accidents that have happened in Finchampstead.

One of the main reasons is that data is only collected by the Police when an injury occurs. Therefore, many accidents go unrecorded and could have a bearing in identifying accident back spots.

Even if you believe the Police recorded the injury accident it is still extremely useful in providing the information. This enables the Parish Council to have advance knowledge on any injury incident.

None of the fields are mandatory but the more information you give us the better.

There are drop down menus for some fields and the and if you click on the down arrow for that field other options to choose will appear.

Road name and or road number? House number and or name (or description of location) close to the accident happened?

Speed limit on that section of road?                    Date and approximate time of the accident?

Road conditions?


General comment on the road conditions

Were there injuries?                                         Which emergency services were at the scene?



Vehicle types (make, model) and registration?



Any damage to property?

Brief description of what may have happened?
