The Parish Council has a Litter Warden (Roger Long). Each week on average Roger manages to collect around a dozen bags of rubbish. It has been estimated that Roger has collected over 60,000 pieces of litter during the first 5 months in his role. While collecting the litter he also ensures that the signs in the area are cleaned. He usually walks five miles at a time - a means of keeping fit and active at the same time. A newspaper found dated back to 1994!

It's a large area for one person to keep rubbish at bay. If there are areas where there needs some attention please call the Parish office.
