  •  New Local Loos - The public in Wokingham town centre now have access to a wider range of toilets as part of the Council’s Local Loo scheme, which is gradually replacing the borough’s run-down and frequently vandalised public conveniences. A similar scheme is under investigation for Woodley, Twyford and Wargrave.

The toilets are cleaner, brighter, in better locations and open for longer hours than the Council-run public conveniences and they are completely free to use. There is no expectation that people using them will purchase a product / service from any of the Local Loo partners.

The location and opening times of the local loos in Wokingham are as follows

The Red Lion, Denmark Street (Pub opening hours)

Broad Street Tavern, Broad Street (Pub opening hours)

Civic Offices, Shute End Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5 pm

Wokingham Library, Denmark Street (Library opening hours)

Each of these locations will have a sign indicating that may be used by the general public
