Central Government has put England in a full lockdown 
Unfortunately, the new strain of coronavirus is increasing cases significantly, as well as adding pressure on the NHS 
This is the safest option right now and is hugely important to help bring soaring transmission rates down 
Under these rules:
– You must stay at home as much as possible and only leave for a limited number of exceptions, such as to shop for essentials, to go to work if you absolutely cannot work from home, to exercise, to seek medical assistance, or to escape domestic abuse
– Shielding will resume for people in the vulnerable category
– Primary schools, secondary schools and colleges across England must move to remote learning until February half term, apart from for vulnerable children and children of key workers – everyone will still be able to access early year settings, including nurseries. Alternatives to summer exams will also be sought
