South East Water is approaching the final section of work as part of its £1.4 million project to improve the water network around Finchampstead.
From Monday, July 13, we need to decommission our old water main at California Crossroads.
The old pipe is no longer required as it has been replaced by a brand new main, which will help maintain water pressure to the community as the population grows.
As a safety precaution, temporary four-way traffic lights will be in operation. This section has been carefully planned to tie in with other utility works to minimise disruption to the local community.
The lights will be in operation for approximately one week and once this section is completed, our road closure in Nine Mile Ride will be lifted.
