Event:                NHS Health on the Move Covid-19 vaccine bus returns to the borough

When:               Thursday 2, Friday 3 and Saturday 4 September

Where:              Pinewood Centre, Norreys Church and St Sebastian’s Church

Wokingham Borough Council is delighted to announce that the NHS Health on the Move Covid-19 vaccine bus will be back in the borough this week, offering first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

All eligible residents who are over the age of 16 can come forward for their jab on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the vaccine bus moving across various locations throughout the week:

  • Thursday 2 September, Pinewood Centre, Old Wokingham Road, RG40 3AQ – 1pm to 6pm
  • Friday 3 September, Norreys Church, Norreys Avenue, RG40 1UU – 1pm to 6pm
  • Saturday 4 September, St Sebastian’s Church, Nine Mile Road, RG40 3AT – 1pm to 6pm

There’s no need to book in advance, simply turn up on the day with proof of age and your vaccine card if coming for your second dose. It must have been at least 8 weeks since your first jab, and you need to have the same vaccine for both doses.

If you’re ready for your second dose of Moderna or AstraZeneca, you can book in for this through the NHS website. To find alternative walk-in vaccine centres, please visit the NHS website.

For more information on the rollout of the vaccine, visit the council’s Covid-19 vaccination webpage.
