A message from the Fire Service. We know that our residents will want to show their support for our carers, but we’re asking you reconsider using sky lanterns to do this.
Though they might look nice, they can cause serious damage to property, crops and livestock, in turn putting extra pressure on your emergency services, vets, and communities in challenging times.
The best way you can support your carers is to help everybody stay as safe as possible by staying at home and saving lives.
