Unfortunately we are still seeing many drivers exceeding the speed limit, especially on Nine Mile Ride, Longwater Road and the Finchampstead Road.
We and the Borough Council have asked Thames Valley Police to carry out enforcement in our Parish and they had planned to do so, but have said that they cannot do this on Nine Mile Ride until the illegal signs placed on the lamp columns have been removed. A picture of one of the signs is below. The Borough Council is now arranging for the signs to be removed, delaying traffic enforcement activity.

At present the Police do not allow any community speedwatch sessions to take place but we will re start these as soon as we can.
