Welcome to the Finchampstead Parish Council website.

Parish councils are the first tier of local government and the closest to the electors of the parish.

Finchampstead Parish has a population of around 12,500 and covers an area (approx. 7.5 miles˛) comprising both rural and residential areas.  It roughly runs from Handpost Corner (Inchcape Garage), Finchampstead Road in the north, to the Blackwater river in the south and from Crowthorne Station in the east, to the Tally-Ho Public House in the west. The parish is split into three wards - North, South and Lower Wokingham.

I hope that this website will help to inspire you to become more involved and I urge you to make use of the Parish Council when issues arise in Finchampstead. Residents are encouraged to attend our various meetings to find out more about current local issues under discussion, present their views and ideas, and most importantly to highlight new issues that may be of concern to the community.
