On Thursday 6 May, Wokingham Borough residents will head to the polls for the Borough Council and Police and Crime Commissioner for the Thames Valley Police Force area elections.
There are also Town Council by-elections in Wokingham and Woodley.
The Finchampstead Parish Council election is uncontested so there will not be any voting on 6 May.
Polling stations will be safe places to vote on 6 May. To keep yourself and other voters safe, we would encourage you to keep your distance, wear a face covering and clean your hands when entering and leaving the polling station. We also ask that you bring your own pen or pencil with you.
Please do not attend the polling station if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or if you have been asked to self-isolate. There will be provisions in place to apply for an emergency proxy vote if required due to health circumstances.
