Plastic recycling includes almost all types of plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays. All they need is a quick rinse before they go into your recycling bags.
Once it’s been sorted at the material recycling facility in Reading, it’s moved to a recycling plant in the UK to turn it into something new. You can find out more about the companies who do this for us in the annual environmental report from re3.
